I like both. It depends on the book some books are best suited for straight up prose and some are better for the images of prose. As long as the prose suits the book setting I like both.

Which do you prefer? Lurid, fruity prose, awash in imagery and sensuous textures and colors? Or straight-forward, clean, simple prose?
